Jeremy Russell Bain, 39, died Thursday, April 25, 2019, at his home in Dudley. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2019, at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde. Burial will follow in the Tecumseh Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28th at the funeral home.

Jeremy was born December 13, 1979, in Odessa to Terry Lynn and Tammy LaDonya Bain. He graduated from May High School and later graduated from Texas State Technical College with a degree in energy management. He married Melba Valdez on March 20, 2009, and moved to Abilene from Waco in 2010. He worked different occupations with great skill. His true passion was laying turf for football fields.

He is survived by his wife, Melba Valdez of Dudley; his son, Wyatt Roberts of Dudley; his brother, Jerrod Bain and wife Katherine of Houston; his paternal grandmother, Frankye Bain of Amarillo; his maternal grandmother Sylvia Rose of Waco; his nephew, Campbell Bain; his aunt and uncle Kevin and Kim Tippen; his mother-in-law, Connie Valdez; and several other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Tammy Bain; his maternal grandfather, Bo Rose; his paternal grandfather, Buster Bain; his father-in-law, Wally Valdez; and his brother-in-law, Lawrence Valdez.

Pallbearers will be David Lee Chambers, Terry Lee Huff, Koby Huff, James Huff, Chad Steele, Lance Rose and Dustin Rose.
