J.O. Seals, 72, of Clyde passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, in an Abilene hospital. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

J.O. was born April 19, 1951, in Abilene to James Oliver and Carrie (Sartor) Seals. He graduated from Abilene High School. He married Deborah Turbush in Abilene on December 7, 1974. They moved to Clyde in 1990 and he was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a truck driver for many years and drove for Merchant Motor Line.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deborah Seals of Clyde; two sons, Joe Seals and Ronnie Seals and wife Crystal, all of Clyde; two brothers, Jimmy Seals and wife Kathleen of Clyde and Otis Seals and wife Jeri of Abilene and eleven grandchildren.

J.O. was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Carolyn and his brother, Don Seals.
