Obituary

Joe Carroll Siddle, 73, of Clyde, formerly of The Colony, died Sunday, June 19, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. A private family memorial service will be held in Dallas. Arrangements by Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Joe was born May 1, 1949, in Memphis, Texas to Claude and Donna (Bryan) Siddle. He graduated from Clarendon High School and attended Clarendon Junior College. He left college to serve in the U.S. Army. During his service, he was stationed in Germany and served as a courier for NATO.

He married Paula Ivy in Roswell, New Mexico on September 18, 1972. They lived for 46 years in The Colony, moving to Clyde in 2018. Joe worked as a logistics and lumberyard manager in Dallas and surrounding areas for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Paula Siddle of Clyde; son, Joshua Siddle of The Colony; daughter, Jennifer Siddle and husband Brandon Zuniga of Red Oak; brother, Bryan Siddle and wife Sherry of Garland; four grandchildren, Jayden Hissom, Riley Siddle, Helena Zuniga and Holland Zuniga; extended family, Dorith Molnar, Daniel Siddle and Lesli Siddle.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, Ellen Bryan and his aunts, Maye (Sister) Bell, B.B. Bell and Noke Bell.
