John Walter Bryant, 60, of Clyde passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, at Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. A visitation will be held from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

John was born September 25, 1963, in Abilene to Bobby and Peggy (Kelly) Bryant. He attended schools in Clyde and Crane. He worked as a welder for his dad and Bulldog Steel since the age of 14.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Kelly Nunnally of Abilene; five sons, Christopher John (C.J.) Bryant of Sweetwater, Oklahoma, Justen Bryant and wife Kayla of Clyde, Kevin Louis Bryant of Clyde, Preston Matthew Bryant and Brandon Levi Bryant, both of Smyer, Texas; nine grandchildren, Tinlie, Bo, Laken, Grantley, Aubree, Teegan, Brylen, Preston Jr., and Genevieve and many other relatives and friends.

John was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Bryant and grandparents, Bill and Bracie Kelly.
