John Henry Madison, 90, of Clyde died Monday, November 21, 2022, at an Abilene hospice facility. A private burial will be held at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene.

John was born January 8, 1932, in San Antonio to James Gerrel and Hellen Elizabeth (McGaughey) Madison. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 until 1954. He married Nelda Hungryford in Abilene on January 24, 1959. He worked as an installer for Western Electric for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nelda Madison; his son, John Douglas Madison and daughter, Joyce Hogg.
