Joseph William Seals, 71, died Thursday, August 7, 2025, at his home in Eula.  Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in the Dudley Cemetery with Rev. David Cason officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 11th at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde.

Joseph was born June 22, 1954, in Canyon, Texas, to Aubrey Lee Seals and Effie Fay (Scott) Seals.  He was a 1972 graduate of Clyde High School and served in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam.  Joseph was a plumber for Allen Plumbing in Abilene for many years and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Abilene.

Joseph  is survived by his son, Daniel Seals and wife Holly of Abilene; his daughter, Marcia Shipley and husband Alex of Eula; his brothers, Troy Seals of Sweetwater and Bobby Seals of Iowa Park; his sister, Joyce Havner of Eula; ten grandchildren, Tyler Meyer, Joseph Seals, Shelby Seals, James Seals, Wynell Meyer, Kiera Hutcheson, Darrian Meyer, Clowey Meyer, Sawni Seals and Madison Meyer; and 13 great-grandchildren, Braylen Longoria, Brentlee Meyer, Brookson Gilmer, Brentston Titus, Maddox Titus, Addilyn Hutcheson, Kamron Hutcheson, Andy Meyer, D'wayne Spiva, Bentley Seals, Arabella Seals, Bralynn Seals,  Seraphina Seals and Tobias rin Seals.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Perry; his mother, Effie Fay (Scott) Seals; and his father, Aubrey Lee "Tommy" Seals.
