Jovonia (Jo Jo) Katrina Cecilia Leher, 53, of Abilene died Saturday, July 13, 2019 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde with Brother David Humber officiating.

Jo Jo was born September 17, 1965 in Salinas, California to Buster and Shirley (White) McRae. She was a graduate of Clyde High School and married Tom Leher in Abilene. She worked for Day Break of Abilene as a house mom for many years.  She loved her job and had a gift for working with the clients of Day Break. She also donated her hair to the American Cancer Society as often as she could.

She is survived by her husband Tom Leher of Abilene; two sons, Cameron McRae and Buster McRae, both of Haskell; four brothers, Curtis McRae and wife Kris of Hanford, California, Larry Studyvin of Chico, California, Bill McRae and wife Debra of Ft. Worth and Richard McRae of Abilene; four sisters, Marita Hanifen and husband Patrick of Fallon, Nevada, Elaine Weyrauch of Fallon, Nevada, Robin McRae and husband Rick Hedrick of San Jose, California and Tammy Williams and husband Michael of Clyde; three grandchildren, Devon Johnson of Haskell, Angelina Johnson and Savannah Shimp, both of Abilene; one great grandchild Kai Johnson of Haskell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jo Jo was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Sylvia McRae, nephew Ryan McRae and her uncle Jackie White.
