Joyce Harris Dunn Gardovsky, 85, of Clyde went to be with her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at an Abilene hospital. Joyce was born in Kent County on August 4, 1936 to Albert and Pearl (Thompson) Harris. She was a class of 1954 graduate of Spur High School. After graduation she attended and graduated from South Plains College with her LVN Degree. She worked for Covenant Health Systems and the Home Health System, both in Lubbock, prior to her retirement. Joyce was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clyde and Joy Sunday School Class.

Joyce married C.L. Dunn in Lubbock in 1967. He preceded her in death in 1992. She married Robert Gardovsky in 2001 and they moved to Clyde in 2006. Robert preceded her in death in 2010.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Kimble of Fort Worth, sisters-in-law, Irene Alton of Red Oak, Polly Harris of Spur and Betty Smith of Midway; brother-in-law, Jake Gardovsky of Damon, four nieces, one nephew and many special friends, including M.L. and Mona Hill.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, one brother, Kenneth (Monk) Harris and brother-in-law, Larry Kimble

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene with Dr. Toby Henson officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.
