Judy Kay Farquhar, 76, of Clyde, died Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Hendrick Hospice in Abilene. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Judy was born December 13, 1948, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Allen R.G. and Fannie C. (McCulley) Belknap. She attended school in Wichita Falls and Abilene. Judy married Billy Ray Farquhar in Abilene, and they moved to Clyde in 1989. Her primary job was as a homemaker, and she also worked at Mack Eplen's Briarstone Manor.
Judy is survived by three sons, Bill and wife Terri Farquhar of Hampden, Maine, Steven Farquhar and Tim Farquhar, both of Clyde; two daughters, Lynn Hill and husband Herbert of Clyde and Melinda Bromley and husband Patrick of St. Johnsbury, Vermont; six grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Emily, Wendy, Joshua and William; nine great-grandchildren, Calvin, Jack, Atlas, Ava, Seamus, Reilly, Rory, Vincent and Samuel; one brother, Victor Belknap of Pampa; and one sister, Peachola Greene of Gainesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Farquhar; two brothers, Freeman and Leroy Belknap; and three sisters, Jody Whitehead, Maebeth Belknap and Nancy Davis.
