Karen Ann Goode, 66, died Friday, February 15, 2019, at her home in Clyde. A visitation and luncheon for family and friends will be held from noon until 3:00 p.m. before the service at the Clyde Senior Citizens Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde with Rev. Margaret Warren Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery.

Karen was born May 7, 1952, in Albany to Jack and Marguritte (Yarbrough) Martin. She grew up and attended school in Lubbock. Karen was a furniture restorer and a member of Metropolitan Community Church in Abilene.

Karen is survived by her partner of 30+ years, Cathy Cameron of Clyde; three sons, Charles Wayne Goodeand and wife Bobbi of Clyde, Michael Thomas Goode and wife Heather of Early and James Robert Lee Goodeand and wife Ashley of Clyde; two daughters, Gidget Ann McCrary and husband Dusty of Santa Anna and Selin Dawn Massey and husband Chad of Bangs; two brothers, Wayne Jackson Martin, Jr. of Breckenridge and Thomas George Martin and wife Connie of Santo; three sisters, Kay Pelton of Anson, Kim Purcell and husband Johnny of Bangs and Kristy Geissman of Albany; 15 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one aunt, Sharon Jones and Uncle Doug Jones; and so many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Hubert & Lorraine Hansford and Bessie & Walter Martin; her sister, Katina Martin; her brother-in-law, Jimmy Pelton; and her sister-in-law, Brenda Martin.
