Kimberly Ann Blackwell, 63, of Abilene died Monday, February 28, 2022, at her home. A memorial / visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel of Clyde.

Kimberly was born July 18, 1958, in Nashville, Tennessee to William Kendall Cleek, Sr. and Jean Evelyn (Anderson) Cleek Dye. She graduated from Cooper High School. She worked as a rehabilitation specialist for Abilene State School for ten years and also for Betty Hardwick Center for 10 years. She married Roger Blackwell in Abilene on August 19, 2000.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Blackwell of Abilene; son, Cody Caperton and wife Ashley of Clyde; stepdaughter, Summer Blackwell of Seattle, Washington; three brothers, Robert Cleek and wife Debbie of Monteagle, Tennessee, David Cleek and wife Janell of Bedford and William Kendall Cleek, Jr.; sister, Melanie Ray and husband Jerry of McKinney; eight grandchildren, Gracie, Cooper, Beckham, Symantha, Molly, Devynn, Amy and Annah and numerous extended family and friends.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her son, James Daniel Caperton; brother, Michael Dye, sister, Glenda Jean Dye,
