Reagan Kyle Ford passed from this earth on Sunday morning at 1:00 a.m. at Silver Spring Health Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Clyde with Dr. Toby Henson officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5 ^th at the funeral home.

Kyle was born June 13, 1963 in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico to Douglas and Ann (Cochran) Ford.  Kyle moved to Tuscola, Texas in 1966.  In 1972, he and his family moved to Clyde.  He graduated from Clyde High School in 1983.

Kyle was a devoted fan of the Clyde Bulldog football team, serving as team manager for several years.  He was active in the Clyde FFA program, showing Hereford cattle for many years at Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston Livestock Shows.  He loved showing his cattle and loved animals.  People were always amazed how gentle his calves were and how easy he could display them and had his hat on straight at the same time.  Kyle always placed high enough, that his calves were in the premium livestock sale every time.

After graduation, he attended Betty Hardwick Center, obtaining additional training. In 2000, Kyle moved to Disability Resource Center, Inc. where he enjoyed working the Pumpkin Patch, Quail Hunt and performing with the Chili Peppers Handbell Choir at various places in Abilene and the surrounding areas.

Kyle was a true people person and loved to visit with people.  He loved going to Luskey's so that they could reshape his Stetson hat.

He leaves his mother, Ann Ford; father, Doug Ford; one sister, Kathaleen Ford Smith and husband Jeff; nephew Dillon Smith and niece, Kristen Smith, both of Austin.

Kyle was preceded in death by six uncles, four aunts and a host of cousins.

Pallbearers will be, Terry Geye, Brandon Geye, George Welch, Kelly Young, Richard "Tally" Windham and Leo Dixon. Honorary pallbearer will be Word Estes.
