Larry Lee Larsen, 80, of Clyde passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Larry was born on March 17, 1946, in Sacramento, California to Theron and Gladys (Keffer) Larsen. He graduated from Nevada Union High School and then attended Sierra College in Roseville, California. He married Ruth Estelle Andersen in Lynwood, Washington on November 20, 1966. Larry worked for the State of California for many years as a heavy equipment operator. He had also been a rancher and a truck driver. They moved to Clyde in 2015 and were members of the Second Chance Cowboy Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Larsen; one son, Steven Larsen of Grass Valley, California; one daughter, Laura (Larsen) Valdez and husband Mathew of Baird.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Gladys Larsen and his brothers, Richard Larsen of Hawthorne, Nevada and David Tracey of Antioch, California.
