Lawerence Bruce Werner, 78, of Baird, formerly of Abilene, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in a Baird nursing home. No services are planned at this time.

Lawerence was born September 29, 1941 in Marion, Ohio to Edward and Mary Werner. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army. After his military service, Lawerence worked as a carpenter and in the oilfield.

He is survived by his children, Lawerence Bruce Werner, Jr. of Oklahoma, Tracy Werner of Florida, Anthony Werner of California, Jamie Werner of California and Crystal Kay Sirmans of Michigan and seven grandchildren.

Lawerence was preceded in death by his son Patrick Werner.
