Lillian Juanita Thomas, 59, of Clyde died Thursday, October 20, 2022, in an Abilene hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Eula Cemetery with Chaplain Kathi Edwards officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Juanita was born February 23, 1963, in Washington State to Don and Thelma (Britain) Fewell. She was baptized as a child. Her father's military career took her to many different schools all over the United States, finishing in Utah. Juanita met Tod Thomas in Brentwood, California in the early 1980's. The couple were married in San Augustine, Texas on March 3, 1985; moving to Clyde, Texas shortly thereafter.

Juanita was hard working and dedicated many years to various jobs such as road construction, and her own cleaning business. She also worked for the Edwards family for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Tod Thomas; her son, Jeremy Smith and wife Ryan of Early; her daughter, Heather Ramos and husband Robert of Clyde; brother, Lambert Malloy and wife Diane of San Jose, California; two sisters, Jeanie Tucker and husband David of Clyde and Susan Christianson of Oregon. Juanita was blessed with eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Velma Jean Dawson and Donna Jordan.
