Linda Jayne Davis, 76, of Abilene died Thursday, March 3, 2022, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2022, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel of Clyde with Pastor Terry Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Hamby Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 6, 2022, between the hours of 3:00pm and 4:30pm at Bailey Howard Funeral Home.

Linda was born March 15, 1945, in Stamford, TX to Dallas Lewis and Bonnie Jane (Snow) Davis. She was a bus driver for AISD for many years and loved being a part of the children's lives. Linda loved spending time with her family, playing games, travelling and laughing until she cried. Linda was known to travel around her apartment complex on her scooter visiting with everyone. She was a member of Second Chance Cowboy Church.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Bailey and wife Leah of Baird; daughters, Annette Bailey of Clyde and Patti Bailey of West Des Moines, Iowa; brothers, Terry Davis of Weatherford and Steve Davis and wife Nyla of Abilene; sisters, Debbie Lane of Clyde and Rhonda Bradshaw of Abilene; eight grandchildren: Randell, Samantha, Dillon, Bret, Justan, Jessica, Becca and Josh; eleven great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo; her brother, Jerry Davis and granddaughter, Ashley Bailey-Gossett.

Honoring their Grandmother, pallbearers will be Randell Gossett, Josh Schwind, Trenten Hervey, Dillon South, Bret South and Justan Bailey.
