Linda Carole Kniffen, 73, of Clyde, died Friday, March 12, 2021, at Hendrick Hospice Care Center.  Private memorial services will be held at later date.

Linda was born February 17, 1948, in Brownfield, Texas.  She was a graduate of Midland Lee High School and Midland College School of Nursing with her license Vocational degree in 1989.  On April 7, 1966, she married the love of her life, Jimmy Kniffen, in Midland.  They moved from Midland to Clyde in 1991.  She had worked for Nurse Care and Kinder Hearts as an LVN until she retired.  She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years, 11 months, Jimmy Kniffen of Clyde; her dad, Albert Baze of Midland; two daughters, Brandi Colvin-Smith and husband Nathaniel of Clyde and Shelbie Estrella and husband John of Clyde; her sister, Dujuana Crowe; seven grandchildren, Treya Hall and husband Elliot, Danielle Burleson and husband Martin, Ashley Colvin and  DeVonte Rhodes, Brandon Colvin and  Kathryne Goodman, Jimmy Jones, Cutter Kniffen and Ty Gunner Estrella; and four great-grandchildren, Trendan Burleson, Macklin Burleson, Jordan Rhodes, and Carter Rhodes.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Tommie Baze and her brother, Mitchell Baze.
