Lloyd Wallace Mashburn, Jr., 74, of Clyde passed away peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2023, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel.

Lloyd was born January 25, 1949, to Lloyd Wallace and Wanda Mae (Gouge) Mashburn in Abilene, where he spent his early childhood.  He graduated from Lancaster High School.  He married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Coe in Lancaster on December 16, 1967.  He earned his Texas State Teaching Degree from North Texas State University. He then taught third grade in Mesquite for a few years before moving on to Minyard's, where he managed several grocery stores.  He later moved on to McKee Foods Corporation (Little Debbie Snack Cakes) and worked as a District Sales Manager, where he retired after 28 years of service.  Lloyd loved his family and spending time in the outdoors.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sharing his hobbies with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Coe Mashburn of Clyde; two daughters, Rhonda Mashburn of Fort Worth and Madonna Mashburn, and wife Shannon of Rolling Hills Estates, California; sister, Teresa Williams and husband Ronnie of Cedar Creek; grandchildren, Kobe Mashburn-Gillian, Khloe Mashburn-Gillian, Zane Mashburn-Gillian, Ryder Mashburn-Gillian, Grace Crowe, Nick Crowe and Sophia Crowe; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, special friends, Danny Medulla, Bob Dean, Amy and Eddie Hart, and many other friends.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Nancy Mashburn; his brother, Richard Mashburn; aunts and uncles, Dub and DD Mashburn and Franklin and Ann Mashburn.
