Hellen Louise Ward, 86, passed peacefully Tuesday morning, January 31st, at her home in Clyde. Family graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3rd at Ross Cemetery/ Spencer Price Addition in Baird under the direction of Bailey-Howard Funeral Home.

She was born March 13, 1936 to William Edgar Scheets and George Orrey (Jones) Scheets in Haskell, TX. She was the 6th child of 8 children. Mrs. Ward graduated from Haskell High School in 1954. Went to beauty school in September 1955 and was a beautician for 20 years in Fort Worth, Texas.

She married Amos Calvin "Jack" Robinson on August 16, 1960, in Weatherford, Texas. They lived in Fort Worth all their married life. Adopted, Leonard Ray Robinson at the age of 12 in 1965. Mr. Robinson passed away July 13, 1970.

In 1971, she married Donald Lee Ward in Hugo, Oklahoma. Donald was a truck driver and she joined him on the road for over 30 years. They retired to Clyde in 1981. Mr. Ward preceded her in death February 23, 2010.

She taught crocheting and made many handmade gifts for her friends, family and church.

She attended Cowboy Heritage Church in Clyde, she was a Baptist. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Great-Grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Leonard Robinson and wife Josie of Clyde; brother, Douglas Wayne Scheets and wife, April of Briar; sister, Orrey Marie (Scheets) Harrison of Baird; grandson, Donl Robinson; granddaughter, Kaitlynn Robinson of Abilene; one great grandson, Axel Hargus of Abilene and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, one sister, four brothers, and aunts and uncles.
