Obituary

Lucille Gordon Patrick 84, died at her home in Clyde, on Friday, February 25, 2022.

Memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Baird officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until service time and after the memorial service.

Lucille was born June 11, 1937, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Fred Gordon and Doris Lucille (Fickel) Gemmell.  She was raised on a farm outside of Malvern, Iowa, and graduated from Malvern High School and later graduated from TSTI.  She was the widow of Michael Patrick whom she married on October 13, 1956, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death in 1994.  They had moved to Clyde in 1980 from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lucille had worked for Abilene Regional Center for 12 years as a medical records clerk.  She was a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship in Abilene.

Lucille is survived by three daughters, Mary Patrick of Clyde, Carey Patrick of Katy, Texas and Kelly Patrick of San Ysidro, California; her son-in-law, Michael Novacek of Lincoln, Nebraska; two brothers and their wives, Dan and Cheri Gemmell of St Joseph, Missouri, and Bob and Karen Gemmell of Minneapolis, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Nick Novacek, Dylan Novacek, Justin and wife Amy Tucker, Hali Ramirez and Alec Hawaari; three great-grandchildren, Ian Booth, Elena Booth and A.J. Hawaari, Jr.; and one great-aunt, Wilma Kidd of San Angelo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael Patrick; one daughter, Leslie Novacek.
