Margaret Louise Dove, 87, of Eula peacefully passed away in her home on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Margaret, better known as "Nanny", was born July 9, 1937, in Wichita Falls to JW Baker and Mary Jane Moore. Her and her late husband, Wesley Harley Dove, married June 8, 1953, and moved to Callahan County from Irving in 1971. Margaret spent many years working in bakeries, officially retiring from Albertson's in Abilene. Although her working days eventually came to an end, she never stopped sharing her knowledge and love for the kitchen, teaching all her grandchildren and great grandchildren her recipes.

Margaret is survived by her two children; son, Gary Dove and wife Sue of Eula and daughter, Donna Draper and husband Kenneth, also of Eula; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister, Jerl Gallaher; one brother, James David Baker and one granddaughter, Alicia Louise Barrett.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Kendrick Cemetery at Denton Valley with her grandson, Kendon Draper, officiating.
