Margaret Lou Wilson, 91, of Clyde died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at an Abilene hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Margaret was born July 22, 1927 in Coleman County to Edward and Nova (Scoggins) Stoup. She attended school in Coleman. She married Merrel Clayton Wilson in Abilene in 1952 and they moved to Clyde from Abilene in 1968. She worked for the Abilene State School as an aid for over 20 years and was a member of the Cherry Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Ronald Wilson and wife Brenda of Abilene; two daughters, Mary McDougal and husband Jerry of Cameron, Missouri and Linda Shelton of Clyde; brother William Stoup of Coleman; sister Peggy Jacobi of Ft. Worth; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, four sisters and her son Clayton Wilson.
