Marjorie Ann Mauldin, 85, of Abilene, formerly of Clyde, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in an Abilene care center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Clyde Church of Christ with David Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Marjorie was born December 18, 1932 in Colorado City to the late Samuel and Loraine (Owen) Roberson. She attended Clyde High School and was a longtime member of the Clyde Church of Christ, where she coordinated many meals for the members. She married Harold Mauldin in Big Spring on February 15, 1958. They moved to Clyde from Abilene in 1964. She was a homemaker and loved creating crafts and playing bridge.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold Mauldin; three sons, Jimmy Mauldin and wife Chris of McKinney, David Alan Mauldin and wife Martha of Round Rock and Darrell Mauldin and wife Pam of Abilene; 7 grandchildren, Jessica Garris and husband Jeff of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Amanda Surrec and husband Nick of Round Rock, Sarah Bounds and husband Daniel of Austin, Matt Mauldin and wife Holly of Burleson, Jamie Thompson and husband Cade of McKinney, Travis Mauldin of Houston and Connor Mauldin of Carlsbad, New Mexico; 11 great grandchildren, Vivian, Clara, Carter, Caroline, Lilah, Luke, Charlie, Haylee, Audrey, Finn and London.

Marjorie was preceded in death by three brothers Thomas (Lefty) Roberson, Jack Roberson and Billy Bob Roberson and sister Betty Allen.
