Mark Alan Davis, 60, of Baird died Sunday, November 28, 2021 in an Abilene hospice facility. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Clyde First Assembly of God with Pastor Vickie Adams officiating.

Mark was born August 3, 1961 in Rochester, Indiana to Charles and Jean (Robbins) Davis. He worked in the oilfield for many years. He also worked previously for Ab-Tex, Fairway Oaks Golf Course and James Mechanical. Mark married Missy (Audrey) Brister in DeRidder, Louisiana on August 9, 2003.

He is survived by his wife, Missy (Audrey) Davis of Baird; two sons, Harley David Cook of N. Richland Hills and Damion Lee (Bubba) Cook and wife Elizabeth of Hurst; four daughters, Jennifer Mahaney and husband Bob of Eastland, Brandy Davis of Abilene, Christiane (Dawn) Cook and Eddie Lomas of Abilene and Tia Davis of Abilene; four brothers, Bryan Davis, Todd Davis and wife Lori, Mike Davis and Debbie Heald and Donny Davis and wife Shelly, all of Abilene; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Misty Ann Davis and his brother, James Carrithers.
