Mark Joseph (Spooky) Baidas, 70, died Sunday, September 21, 2025, at his home in Clyde.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Catholic Cemetery in Clyde under the direction of Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde.

Mark was born February 6, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, to John Joseph and Julia Marie Simons Baidas.  He graduated from Ben Franklin High School in Lavonia, Michigan, where he was a member of the Navy Jr. ROTC "73" and was a Lavonia Auxiliary Police Officer.  He moved to Clyde from Lavonia in 1978.  Mark was a truck driver owner and operator.  He previously worked for Bush's Trucking, Furr's, Reeder's Auto, Eugene Kitchens Construction and Coca Cola.  He was a member of St. Joachim & Ann Catholic Church in Clyde and was a life member of Gypsy International Motorcycle.

Mark is survived by his sons, Michael Joseph Baidas of Florida, John Harley Baidas of Clyde and Piotr "Peter" Russell Baidas of Oklahoma; two daughters, Dannette Nelson Cauchi of Michigan and Caitlyn Baidas Lagunas of California; six granddaughters; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Julia Baidas.
