Mary Alice Baucom Hagler, 83, of Clyde died Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at her daughter's home in Midlothian. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Jay Don Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The family will have a luncheon at the First Baptist Church in Clyde for friends and family at 12:30 p.m. before the service on Sunday.

Mary was born June 17, 1935 in Coleman to James Avery and Della Pearl (Golson) Baucom. She graduated from Coleman High School and attended Howard Payne University. She married Jimmie Craig Hagler in Farmington, New Mexico on April 12, 1958. She has been in Clyde since 1974 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clyde.

She is survived by her three children, Laura Mason and husband Bobby of Midlothian, James Hagler of Grand Prairie, and Carla Ables of Midlothian; a brother Jack Baucom and wife Karen of San Angelo; three grandchildren, Ashley Ables of Tampa Florida, David James Ables of Grand Prairie and Austin Mason of Snohomish, Washington and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Craig Hagler, her parents Arvin and Della Baucom, her brothers Frank and Marvin Baucom, and sisters Bobbie Carter and LaVada Poindexter Beard.
