Nanette Elaine McRae, 57, of Abilene died Thursday, April 22, 2021 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andrew Hollinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Baily Howard Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021, at the funeral home.

Nanette was born August 28, 1963 in Abilene, TX to F.L. "Bill" and Virginia (Voeller) Vinson. She was a graduate of Clyde High School and attended the Bridge in Abilene. She married Cedric McRae March 15, 2014 at the Elmdale Baptist Church. Nanette retired from Wal-Mart in January 2021 after working 33 years. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Nanette is survived by her husband, Cedrick of Abilene; her mother Virginia Vinson of Clyde; 2 sisters, Vivian Vinson of Clyde and Diane Attalah and husband Amine of Abilene; one nephew Allen Wilkins and wife Sarah of Abilene.

Nanette was preceded in death by her father Bill Vinson and first husband Paul Joy.
