Nona Carolyn Ray, 72, of Baird died Monday, February 7, 2022, in an Abilene nursing home. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Hamby Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Nona was born May 2, 1949, in Abilene to Albert Franklin and Frankie (Watson) Ray. She graduated from Abilene High School. Nona worked as a law clerk for Wagstaff Law Firm for many years.

She is survived by her sister, Gayle Ray of Abilene.

Nona was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Cheryl Ray and brother, Heath Ray.
