Pamela Jean (Fillmon) Glover, 73, of Abilene went to meet her Lord on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at home. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Iberis Cemetery with Rev. John Fanning officiating, assisted by Rick Grant under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Pam was born June 18, 1950, in Abilene to Bernis H. and Nancy Jean (Vinson) Fillmon. Pam attended school in Avoca, Norton and Wylie. She also had an A.A. degree from Cisco College. She married Royce Dean Glover on September 7, 1973, and they were blessed with two children, Michael and Deanna. Pam was delighted in being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Baptist and served as a Sunday School Teacher for small children and older adult women. Pam worked at Thornton Department Store, Gooch Packing in engineering and Abilene Independent School District for 27 years. She also assisted her husband for 18 years in his plumbing business. She lived the life of a true caregiver, who touched every soul she met.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dean Glover; one son, Michael Hutcheson and wife Stephanie; one daughter, Deanna Barker and husband Donovan; brother, Bill Fillmon and wife Betty; grandchildren, Dylan Hutcheson and wife Cheyenne, Alyssa Hutcheson, Charles Barker, Avery Barker, Aspen Escamilla and Tristan Escamilla and a great granddaughter, Kate Hutcheson.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents and baby brother, Larry Thomas Fillmon.
