Patsy (Pat)(Granma) Ruth Swindell Childers, 84, of Eula died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the May Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. She will be in state from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pat was born January 2, 1936 in Rising Star to Silas and Bessie (Kincaid) Swindell. She graduated from Rising Star High School. She married Kenneth Ray Childers in May April 18, 1958. They moved to Eula from Abilene in 1971. She worked in the office for the Taylor County Adult Probation Department for 15 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Club.

She is survived by her son Mark Childers and wife Terri of Potosi; daughter Kim Childers and Tom Anderson of Christoval; three grandchildren, JR Page, Kristi Loewen and husband Willie and Kaci Childers; and four great grandchildren, Khloe Page, McKinlee, Oaklee and Landry Loewen.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth on December 16, 2020, her parents and three brothers, Ray Dell, John L. and Joe Dell Swindell.
