Paula Kay Godfrey Matson, 72, of Breckenridge, formerly of Albany, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Burial was at Albany Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home in Clyde.

Paula was born October 26, 1951, in Oceanside, California to Jimmy and Alma (Evans) Godfrey. She graduated from Baird High School and later from Texas Tech University. Paula enjoyed working with ceramics and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her son, Michael Christopher Matson of Albany and a brother, Lynn Godfrey and wife Melanie of Burleson.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Alma and her brother, Jay Godfrey.
