Peggy Newman McMahon, 82, of Eula died Friday, May 22, 2020 in an Abilene hospice facility. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Bailey Howard Funeral home of Clyde.

Peggy was born September 11, 1937 in Roosevelt, Oklahoma to Euless Roscoe and Ruby Rae (Thompson) Clark. She attended school at Con 8, Oklahoma. She married Marvin Glen Newman in Winnemucca, Nevada on February 27, 1955. They moved to Eula from Abilene in 1978. After Marvin's death, she married Marion McMahon in Eula in 2015. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eula Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Johnny Marvin Newman of Abilene; daughter Tammera Sue Walker and husband David of Abilene; four brothers, Lex Clark of Duncan, Oklahoma, Troy Clark of Duncan, Oklahoma, Joe Clark of Sayre, Oklahoma and Steve Clark of Pryor, Oklahoma; four sisters, Avis Schenk of West Point, Nebraska, Becky Williams of Willow, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Lowell of Roosevelt, Oklahoma and Lee Ann Claxton of Roosevelt, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren with one on the way and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husbands Marvin and Marion, her brother Buddy Clark and three sisters, Paula Kendall, Georgette Denton and Alice McCall.
