Quinten Macklee Siegfried, 14, of Baird passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Clyde First Baptist Church with Cody Cochran officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Burial will follow in Clyde Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27th at the funeral home.
Quinten was born May 21, 2009, in Abilene to Brett and Lacey (Stephens) Siegfried. He attended school in Clyde and Baird and was a member of Bethel Assembly in Anson. Quinten was an amazing young man that touched the lives of many people. He could light up a room with his contagious smile! He loved big and was always a protector of his siblings, and always will be. He was an amazing son, brother, and friend to all that knew him. Quinten never put himself first, and always stood up for the weak. Quinten loved the Lord with all his heart and trusted Him even through his toughest battles. Quinten was a fighter and had the spirit of a warrior that allowed him to fight until his last day on earth. Quinten loved to fish, hunt, play sports, cook, and spend quality time with his family. Quinten will live through us all until the day we meet again.
He is survived by his parents, Brett and Lacey Siegfried of Baird; two brothers, Bentley and Kobe Siegfried and two sisters, Kaylin and Avery Siegfried, all of Baird; maternal grandparents, Winston and Sharon Stephens of Munday; paternal grandfather, David and Kathy Siegfried of Abilene; paternal grandmother, Shelly Siegfried of Haskell; maternal great grandmother, Janet Stephens of Haskell; paternal great grandparents, Jerry and Linda Briscoe of Haskell; paternal great-great grandmother, Ruth Howard and many other family members and friends.
Quinten was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Ronnie and Judy Andrews and Don Stephens; paternal great-great grandfather, Joe Howard.
After the burial, we are sending Quinten off by throwing a line in the water for him at Clyde Lake. Anyone that would like to join is welcome, just bring your fishing pole!
