Ray Foreman "Butch" Frazier, 82, of Abilene passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Butch was born October 19, 1941, in Monahans to Ray and Eva Sue (Foreman) Frazier. He graduated from Pampa High School and went on to graduate from Texas Tech University. He married Diana Gale Pittman in Lubbock on September 5, 1964. He began his teaching career at Mesquite ISD for two years and went to Odessa ISD for six years and finally to Midland ISD for 16 years. They moved to Abilene from Midland in 2001 after his retirement and he was a member of the Buffalo Gap First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Diana Frazier; his son, Jimmy Ray Frazier and wife Cindy of Abilene; one brother, Bobby Frazier and wife Janetta of Pampa; one sister, Linda Ser and husband Larry of Amarillo and one grandchild, Lleyton Frazier.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry Frazier and one sister, Nadine Harrell.
