Obituary

Renee' Miller, 63, of Hawley, known as Nay Nay, Momma Nay, and Granny gained her wings Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at an Abilene hospital.  Funeral services are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Brazos Bend Cowboy Church in Funston with J.W. Rainey officiating.  The family will have a private burial.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde.

Renee' was born November 2, 1961, in Odessa to Edward and Rosie (Miller) McFarland.  She moved to Hawley from Brownwood and graduated from Hawley High School.  Renee' married Lonnie Miller on December 11, 1983, in Anson.

Nay was a beautiful woman inside and out. She always had an open heart and a home to anyone.  Nay loved to cook and always made enough to feed a small army.  She enjoyed all her animals and was the resident vet at the farm, and for some of the kids as well.  Nay was a God-fearing woman that had a BIG LOVE to share.  She loved to go fishing but loved it more when she was catching them. She loved her family and friends.  To know Nay was to love her, she had a heart of gold and never met a stranger.

Renee' was a wife, sister, Momma, Granny, and a very dear friend.

Renee' is survived by her husband, Lonnie Miller of Hawley; five sons, Lonnie Earl Miller, Jr. and wife Mary of Trent, Rowdy Miller of Hawley, Koda Miller and wife Jentry of Hawley, Branson Miller of Hawley and Levi E. Miller, Jr. of Hawley; four daughters, Teia Dennis and husband Matthew of Hawley, Angela Miller of Hawley, Echo Trowbridge of Hawley and Lonna Maynard and husband Gene of Anson; one sister, Sherry Miller and husband Bill of Hawley; eight grandchildren, Teyla, Elizabeth, Dennis, Lena and Layla Lopez, and Brody, David and Natalie Miller.  She is also survived by Justin Bubba Waldon and Kelly Waldon, the many that she was Momma Nay to, and numerous friends and family members who loved her.

Renee' was preceded in death by her son, Levi Miller; her daughter, Tasha Miller; and her parents, Ed and Rosie McFarland.
