Richard Charles Howell, 84, of Granbury, formerly of Colorado City died Monday, January 27, 2020 in Fort Worth. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020 in the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Hooper officiating.

Richard was born July 10, 1935 in Colorado City to Richard and Grace (Vest) Howell. He grew up in Colorado City and graduated from Colorado High. This is also where he married Myrla Ophelia Humphreys on January 22, 1954. He later worked for many years for El Paso Natural Gas as a budget analyst.

He is survived by his wife Myrla Howell of Granbury; sons, Charles Howell and wife Debra of Crane and Timothy Howell and wife Susan of Galveston.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
