Riley "Speedy" Arthur Bailey, 64, of Clyde passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in an Abilene nursing home. A Celebration of Life will be held at his sister Mary's home, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.

Speedy was born March 2, 1961, in Baird to Riley Hershel and Charlene (Linton) Bailey. He graduated from Clyde High School. He married Jeanie Harris in Abilene in 2006. Speedy worked as a mason for Bailey's Masonry for many years. He loved building things, playing pool and was always ready and willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jeanie Bailey of Clyde; his son, Cody Dewayne Bailey and wife Valerie of Clyde; his daughter, Amy Charlene Seals and husband Chris of Breckenridge; stepson, Matthew Jones and wife Skylene of Clyde; two sisters, Linda Wood and husband Johnny and Mary Campbell, all of Clyde; six grandchildren, Jay, Kiya, Josh, Logan, Braelyn and Jaycee; two great grandchildren; a special friend, John Castleman of Fort Worth and numerous other relatives and friends.

Speedy was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Charlene; his stepson, Jacob Jones and his brother-in-law, Gary Campbell.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Speedy's memory to the charity of your choice.
