Rita Dolores Jackson, 64, of Clyde, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the Hendrick Hospice Center in Abilene, Texas. Private funeral services will be held at the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde, Texas.

Rita was born on December 1, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late George Wesley and Hannah Rita (Dougherty) Jackson. She graduated from high school in Milford, Delaware and was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Rita was a caring animal lover, an avid reader and a highly creative and talented artist.

She is survived by four brothers, Frank P. Jackson and his husband D. Stephen Turner of Holyoke, Massachusetts, Paul W. Jackson and his wife Margaret of Edgewater, Maryland, Edward W. Jackson of Greenwood, Delaware and Phillip C. Jackson and his wife Holly of Milford, Delaware; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth A. Jackson, wife of the late Richard J. Jackson and Mary L. Jackson, wife of the late John M. Jackson; nieces and nephews, Margaret, Paul, Stephen, Amanda, Melinda, Scott, Colin and Megan.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her brothers, George Jackson, John M. Jackson and Richard J. Jackson.
