Obituary

Robert (Bob) Alton Henley, 71, of Eula died Friday, September 10, 2021 at home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Dudley Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Bob was born January 9, 1950 in Sweetwater to Jess and Fran (Arnett) Henley. After attending Cooper High School, he went to Cisco Junior College. He served in the U.S. Navy, serving four years on the J.F.K. He married Karen Sue Culpepper in Tecumseh on April 5, 1974 and they moved to Eula from Abilene in 1984. Bob worked as a drilling fluids engineer for Tumbleweed Mud Service.

He is survived by his son, Mitchell Henley and wife Jamie of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter, Kacee Robinson and husband Richard of Sweetwater; mother-in-law, Sue Blair of Eula; sister, Vickie Fain and husband Robert of Abilene; four grandchildren, Dayan Jace Robinson, Cody, Trevor and Cammy Robinson, Brendan Quist and Lily Quist and one great grandson, Cody Robinson, Jr.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Fran and his wife, Karen.
