Robert Morgen Miller, 76, of Clyde died Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in an Abilene hospice facility. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery. The family would like anyone with a classic car to drive it to the service, if able. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Robert was born October 26, 1944 in Brownwood to Roy Lee and Nora (Pilcher) Miller. He attended schools in Clyde. He married Janis Kay Bisbee in Stamford on December 21, 1963. He worked as a machinist for many years, opening his own shop, Miller Mfg., in 1983. Robert loved to restore classic cars and was a member of various car clubs in the area throughout the years.

He is survived by his son, Darrell Miller of Clyde; sister, Ila Haskell of Clyde; granddaughter, Kayleen Miller Harper and husband Andrew of Lubbock; great grandson, Bentley Miller of Lubbock; special friend and former daughter-in-law, Anita Owings of Eunice New Mexico and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janis, one sister and one brother.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Robert's nephew, Ron Miller, for his devoted love and care of Robert.
