Robert Eugene Storey, 56, of Abilene passed away Sunday, November 19th, 2023, in an Abilene hospital. Alongside son Randall, Russell, daughter in laws, Stacey and Jourdan, aunt and uncle, Ronnie and Mary and companion Kimberly Christ. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 27th, 2023, at Fountain Gate Church in Abilene, Texas with Pastor Dennis Chappell officiating, family and friends are welcome.

Robert Storey, aka Robbie, was born May 20th, 1967, in Midland, Texas to Robert Eugene Storey Sr. and Anita Raines Tatum. Robert was full of love, kindness, compassion and willing to learn anything he tried. He loved working on motorcycles, riding motorcycles, working on cars, going to car shows, fishing, hunting, being outside, always being the center of attention, being with friends hanging out, and vacationing with his family. He graduated from Abilene High School in the year of 1986. Later served in the U.S. Army. His first born, Randall Dean Storey, was born on September 13th, 1988, and second born child, Russell David Storey, was born on July 5th, 1997, both in Abilene, Texas. Robert Storey and his family lived in Coleman, Hawley, and Abilene. Robert Storey worked in the oilfield for 30+ years and in paint and body for five years. Throughout Robert's life he was always tackling big accomplishments and having battles of his own. He was diagnosed with a bone cancer in 1991 when he was 26 years of age. He went through chemotherapy for 3.5 years until the cancer was gone. Then his love fell for the oilfield where Robert Storey spent a lot of time making his living and providing for his family. He was divorced in 2019. He then found love later in life in April of 2019 to Kimberly Christ. They both lived together for the remainder of his life Traveling, loving and caring for one another.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Christ; father, Robert E Storey, Sr. of Chandler; mother, Anita Rains Tatum of Oklahoma; two sons, Randall Storey and wife Stacey and Russell Storey and wife Jourdan, all of Clyde; stepdaughter, Felisha Harris of Abilene; two brothers, Jeff Laughery of Oklahoma and Kris Storey of Dallas; seven grandchildren, Kaylynn, Rye, Dixie, Timothy, Avery, Sarah and Alice; former mother-in-law, Kay Berry of Clyde and best friends Rick Smith and Rex Smith, both of Abilene.

Robert Storey was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Raelynn and Grace; his Grandma NewBerry; grandpa, Russell Rains and friends along his journey in life, may they all Rest in Peace.
