Sandra Ilene Haynes, 69, of Clyde died Thursday, March 26, 2020 in an Abilene hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Sandra was born September 9, 1950 in Abilene to Ivan and Scenia (Steele) Lackey. She attended school in Fort Worth and Abilene. She married James (Jake) Haynes in Baird on March 16, 1982. They moved to Clyde from Abilene on 1981. Sandra worked as a cook for TDCJ and also for Allsup's for many years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jordan Haynes of Clyde and Richard David Clark and wife Dana of Clyde; four brothers, Johnny, Ivan, William and Tommy Lackey, all of Abilene and sister Ethel Jackson of Abilene.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jake, brother Buddy Lackey, three sisters, Mary Allen, Carolyn Cox and Barbara Simon.
