Sheila Jane Sitler, 80, of Clyde died Friday, January 22, 2021 in an Abilene hospital. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements by Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Sheila was born March 31, 1940 in Canton, Ohio to Howard and Cora (Bennett) McIntyre. She graduated high school in Ohio and married Russell B. Sitler, Sr. in Ohio on February 17, 1959. They moved to Texas from Ohio in 1971. She drove a school bus for Abilene ISD, retiring after driving for over 20 years.

She is survived by four children; Russell Sitler II and wife Monica of Copperas Cove, Judy Shelton and husband Rick of Mississippi, Barbara Morton and husband Lawrence (Stoney) of Texas and Rodney Sitler and wife Sharon of Killeen; brother Alan Douglas McIntyre of Clyde; three sisters, Susan Sena of Ellenton, Florida, Sandra Strah of Lombard, Illinois and Cynthia Braton and husband Steve of Colorado; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
