In Loving Memory of Tamara Adele McLeod

With heavy hearts but deep gratitude for a life so beautifully lived, we announce the passing of our beloved Tamara McLeod, who went home to be with the Lord on April 15 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born on December 15,1960 in Lovington New Mexico, graduated from Monahans high school, and spent over 30 years in Clyde, Tx. Tamara lived her life rooted in faith, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She was a devoted daughter, a loving mother, a proud nana, and a cherished friend — the heart of our family and a true example of grace and strength.

Her love extended beyond her family to her cherished poodles, who brought her endless joy, companionship, and comfort through the years. Whether on walks, sharing quiet moments at home, or simply being surrounded by their loyal presence, they were an important part of her life and a reflection of her gentle and nurturing heart.

A woman of deep faith, Tamara faced life's joys and trials with prayer, strength, and a steady belief in God's plan. She found peace in her faith, and it guided the way she loved, forgave, and cared for everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her Son Brandon Ponder and wife Jess Ponder, Son Caleb Caperton and fiancé Shaylah Duzenski. Stepchildren Derek Caperton, Danielle Pierce, and Daran Spivey. Grandchildren Haley Friedman, Caiden Caperton, Ashely and Joel Dockery, Jordan and Dillon Koblitz, Brooklyn and Max Wilder, Samantha Rambsel and Nate Millerm. Great-Grandchildren Nevaeh, Ryker, Ophelia, Liliana, Archer, Myla, Kehlani, Memphis, Colton and Jenson. Three Poodles Coco, Kizzy, and Makena. Brother Mark McLeod and sister in-law Laverna McLeod. As well as a wide circle of extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ester McLeod, siblings Tim McLeod, Tracy Rogers, Byra Backus, and three infant siblings. And three Poodles Graham, Gracie, and Angel.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Friends and family are invited to join together in love and remembrance, to share stories, and to honor the life of a woman whose kindness touched all who crossed her path.

Though we grieve her absence, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones in Heaven, and resting in the arms of the Lord. Her love, her faith, and her light will live on in each of us.

In this time of loss, we turn to Your word for comfort, trusting in Your promises. As it is written in Isaiah 40:31:
"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

Rest peacefully, Tamara, You will be forever loved and never forgotten.
