Teddy Jo McNeal of Abilene died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories in Abilene under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Teddy was born September 7 ^th in Gorman to Ted and Jewel (Lawson) Rogers. She graduated from Whiteface High School and attended nursing school in Lubbock. She practiced nursing off and on while raising her family. She later attended mortuary school in Dallas, graduating in 1980. She worked part time and served her apprenticeship at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Homes in Abilene. She retired in 1994 due to health issues. She married Denny McNeal in Abilene on March 6, 1981. She was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ since 1998.

She is survived by her daughter Dee Mason of Artesia, New Mexico; son John Igo and wife Sartiko of Japan; brother J. Mike Rogers and wife Bonnie; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Teddy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Denny in August of 2018, son Ken Igo, son-in-law Jim Mason and brother Dan Rogers.
