Thomas Ray Walton, 63, of Clyde died Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date with Don Sawyer, Hittin' the Streets Ministry, officiating. Arrangements by Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Thomas was born May 12, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Marcus and Ina (Mell) Walton. He worked in many fields, including landscaping, plumbing and truck driving. Thomas married Jacqueline Coates in Irving in 1984. He was a member of Southern Hills Church of Christ and volunteered for Hittin' the Streets Ministry, ministering and helping the less fortunate.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Kyle Walton of Clyde; brother Howard Walton and wife Brenda of Abilene; three sisters, Merri Joyce Mulari and husband William of Kansas, Melodie Walton of Clyde and Ammie Blanco and husband Michael Derrick of Clyde; seven nephews, C.J. and Mary, Jim and Cindy, Robert, Sidney and Jennifer, Marcus and Stephanie, Raymon and Angela, and Jonathan and Syndia; three nieces, April, Jamie and Tasha; his outreach family, Don and Lisa Sawyer of Clyde and former brother-in-law and caregiver, Sidney Bullard.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jacqueline in 2014.
