Timothy Johnathan Norwood, 56, of Stamford passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, in an Anson hospital. No services are scheduled at this time.

Tim was born March 12, 1968, in Grand Prairie to Noel Eugene and Betty Ruth (Wright) Norwood. He was an auto mechanic for many years, owning his own shop in Stamford for the last few years. He also played bass guitar for the Exit 277 Band.

He is survived by his sister, Nanette Bailey and husband Terry of Abilene; two brothers, Larry Church and wife Terri of Midlothian and Steven Church and wife Leslie of Weatherford and many nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Betty.
