Tommy Eugene Mayfield, 69, of Abilene passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, in a Temple hospital. At his request, no services are planned at this time.

Tommy was born December 14, 1953, in Anson to James Earl and Winona Mayfield. He worked most of his life in the oilfield and retired from the Kellogg Snack Company. Tommy loved fishing, golfing, taking road trips on his Harley and cooking for family and friends.

He is survived by his son, T.J. Mayfield and wife Joanna of Clyde; daughter, Roxanne LeMay and husband Richard of Albany; four grandchildren, Tyler Mayfield and wife Amanda of San Angelo, Breanna Richmond and husband Tanner of Abilene, Gracie LeMay of Boston and Will LeMay of Albany; four great grandchildren, Landyn, Karsyn and Ruby Richmond and Cooper Mayfield and several special friends.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Winona; sister, Patricia Rehmert and his brother, Larry Mayfield.
