Tommye Ann Farmer, 87, of Abilene died Sunday, March 24, 2019 in a Stephenville nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Kathi Edwards officiating. A private burial will be at the Eula Cemetery.

Tommye Ann was born September 6, 1931 in Fort Worth to Tom and Rena (Jones) Stoker. She graduated from Clyde High School. She married Wayne Farmer in Eula on May 28, 1949. After Wayne's death she later married Wendell Farmer in Eula in 1983. She was a homemaker and a member of the Discovery Bible Church in Abilene. Tommye Ann moved to Stephenville in September 2017 to be near her daughter.

She is survived by her husband Wendell Farmer of Stephenville; son Sidney Clark Farmer of Greenville, South Carolina; three daughters, Lynn Brown and husband Stan of Bluff Dale, Phyllis Kathryn Laney of N. Richland Hills and Sharon Lee Clackum and husband Carl Terrell of Cumming, Georgia and five grandchildren, Barry Brown, Ashely Lane, Stephanie Lane, Andrew Farmer and Hannah Farmer.

Tommy Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Wayne Farmer, daughter Leigh Ann Farmer and step-son Dub Farmer.
