Obituary

Tyrone Vincent James, 74, passed away on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, at his home in Clyde, Texas.  Military graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13th, 2024, under the direction of Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde, Texas.

Tyrone was born on June 18th, 1950, in Niagara Falls, New York, to the late Rev. Horace James and Eutrelia (Whetstone) James.  After graduating from Niagara Falls High School, he attended Buffalo State University. He served in the United States Air Force and committed to his earned position as a E4 classified Sergeant. After serving his Country, he worked several years as an Accountant at Harrison Radiator Company located in Lockport, New York. Later, he embarked on his journey of working as a popular hair stylist in which he served many clients located in South- Central Alabama. For many years, Tyrone also established a career working as a Medical Administrator in the Department of Veteran Affairs. Tyrone was a faithful member of the House of Yahweh and committed his life to studying, teaching and honoring the laws of the Heavenly Father.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Horace and Eutrelia (Whetstone) James; brother, Russell James; sister, Lori Ann James and son, Darnell James.

He leaves to cherish his memories one (1) son, Donnell James of Austin, Texas; five (5) daughters, Natieya (Shawn) Still of Centerville, Ohio; Camillia Carter of Greensboro, North Carolina; Eboni Morris & Tyneshia Morris both of Opelika, Alabama; and Riyyah James of Tuskegee, Alabama; two (2) brothers, Vernon James and Kenneth James, both of Niagara Falls, New York; one (1) sister, Catherine (Herman) James- Nichols of McKinney, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Your presence will be forever missed. Your influence forever remembered. And your life forever honored. Love, your children, siblings, family and friends. Rest in eternal Power. Shalom.
